Active ImageHoffman, the Senators' fifth-round pick (130th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, recently attended his second development camp with the club.

The 20-year-old left-winger completed his final year of Canadian Hockey League eligibility in 2009-10, winning the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Michel-Briere Trophy as the league's most valuable player as a member of the Sea Dogs. Through 19 playoff games, he had 21 goals and 13 assists.

Hoffman finished his CHL career with 122 goals, 105 assists and 217 penalty minutes over 182 games. He also added 32 goals and 26 assists in 40 post-season meetings.
