Jim Fleming is the Sea Dogs goaltending coach and is responsible for evaluating each goaltender and designing a specific program for each based on skill progressions and problem solving. Jim is on the ice during each team practice, working with and conducting training sessions for each goalie. Fleming also attends local hockey clinics, participating in and conducting goalie training sessions on behalf of the Sea Dogs.
Fleming holds a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education from the University of New Brunswick and is involved with the Hockey Canada Coach Mentorship Program. He attended the 2003 Canada Games as part of Hockey New Brunswick, and works with various local Midget and Bantam AAA teams.
Jim is also a proud member of the Saint John Police Department.
