IRVING OIL TEAM PLAYER PROGRAM
The Irving Oil Team Player program promotes the positive values of minor hockey and the importance of being a team player, both on and off the ice. The object of the program is to reward the unsung heroes who work hard to help their team and to promote that hard work is an important skill unto itself – just like learning to be a good skater, or making a big save.
Following a weekly game or practice, coaches choose a player to receive the award. Coaches can use the award to identify what qualities in their players that they want to motivate or improve. These qualities don’t have to be skill-related and can be very specific to each player. The goal is to have every player on the team receive the award during the season.

IRVING OIL MINOR HOCKEY CHALLENGE
During 14 intermissions this season Atom AA and Peewee AA player from the Southern New Brunswick Minor Hockey Associations will compete in Fastest Skater, Break Away and Goal tending Competition. These players will be selected by their coaches and will participate in an elimination process over the season with the winners taking home great prizes for their team and themselves compliments of Irving Oil.
