Quispamsis native Rick Walsh joined the Sea Dogs front office in September of 2007 in the role of Controller.

Prior to taking on his accounting role with the Sea Dogs, Mr. Walsh enjoyed an extensive career in Project Management with companies including EDS Canada, SHL Sytemhouse, Unisys Canada, and the Hibernia Management and Development Company.

Born, raised and educated in Saint John, Mr. Walsh’s career began with Saint John Shipbuilding on the Canadian Patrol Frigate Program in 1986. Leaving Saint John in 1991 to pursue mega-projects, Rick has had the opportunity to live and work in St. John’s, NF, Montreal, QC, Dartmouth, NS, Ottawa, ON, and Charlottetown, P.E.I. before ultimately returning to the Saint John area in 2003.

An avid hockey fan, and father of three boys currently enrolled in K-V Minor Hockey, Rick is thrilled to be part of the Sea Dogs organization.

Mr. Walsh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from UNB Saint John, and holds the Professional Designation of Certified General Accountant.
