SEA DOGS AND SAINT JOHN POLICE FORCE ADMINISTER D.A.R.E. PROGRAM THROUGHOUT THE REGION

Over the course of the last two years, the Saint John Sea Dogs have been working hand-in-hand with the Saint John Police Force in the delivery of the D.A.R.E. Program at schools and community centres throughout south western New Brunswick. Sea Dogs players have helped convey D.A.R.E.'s key message that leading a healthy, drug-free lifestyle is of paramount importance to attaining one’s goals in life – goals such as becoming a major junior hockey player.

The Sea Dogs have attended each of the past two D.A.R.E. graduation ceremonies, photos of which can be found below:

The Sea Dogs are committed to helping young school children get excited about math! The Sea Dogs Get FANatical About Math program was launched in January in both school districts 6 & 8. This program will have students from Kindergarten to grade 8 solving hockey related math questions and activities that are congruent with the Atlantic Math Curriculum.

Students and classrooms that participate in this program are eligible to win great prizes from both Canaport LNG and the Sea Dogs.
