Selected by Saint John in the first round, 10th overall, of the 2009 QMJHL Entry Draft… Competed at the 2009 TELUS Cup as a member of the Moncton Flyers… Won the 2008-09 NB-PEI Major Midget Hockey League Luc Bourdon Memorial Top Defenceman Award and was named to the league’s First All-Star Team... Registered first career point on September 13, 2009... One of only two Sea Dogs defencemen to appear in every game of his rookie season (Alex Grant, 2005-06, is the other)…Fifth among QMJHL rookies in plus-minus at plus-25 in 2009-10, third among rookies in playoffs at plus-8... Tied for third in QMJHL plus-minus at plus-48 in 2010-11... Named one of the "Steady Eddies" at the 2011 MasterCard Memorial Cup by Sam Cosentino of Sportsnet...
